Press Conference January 24, 2025

This is the unedited version of the press conference that Sheriff Mikesell held. In it he talks about going after illegal aliens WHO HAVE COMMITTED ADDITIONAL CRIMES in Teller County. He also talks about the draft bill he authored and submitted with the aim of allowing law enforcement to work more fully with ICE to allow investigation into illegal alien crimes that cross jurisdictional borders.

I agree with law enforcement agencies working together to enforce laws. Unfortunately, when the sheriff questions statistics and cites anecdotal "evidence" to back up his actions (11:56) it sure does make him look like a goofy country bumpkin. Probably better to do a little prep work and come to the cameras with some generally respected evidence. It'll back up the argument a whole lot more effectively.

How many homicides were committed in Teller county during the first 20 years of this century vs the last 4? That's the only statistic a sane person needs to know. But demoncrap still try to gaslight the citizens - usually whining about DEI and racism and all the rest. Fortunately, that is OVER as of a week ago. 😁
