Press Conference Kate Winn Opening Remarks

IDA Ontario volunteer and Reading Road Trip podcast host and producer Kate Winn joined Minister Lecce for the announcement of upcoming revisions to the Kindergarten program.
Kate shared her thoughts about structured literacy in Kindergarten, highlighting that revising the Kindergarten program was a key recommendation of the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Learning to read is a basic and essential human right - structured literacy instruction beginning in kindergarten is necessary for all Ontario students.
