I was there, go to every home game, been going since I was boy (57 now), and today was probably the most thrilling win I've seen, the atmosphere was electric, every single player gave such a huge performance, really great to see us playing fiery aggressive and also attacking football, even against a team full of internationals. I was so pleased for Wright and Bundu especially, as they were often overlooked under previous coaches, but they both are great players, and Callum will treasure this memory forever, given his Liverpool background. Sorinola hobbling for a while, but overcoming the cramp to finish so strongly (he got my MOTM vote). Defence was brilliant, including Hazard. Hoping for a home draw next round and looking forward to Milwall Wednesday as we continue our progress in the league. Muslic must be so happy, glad he's our coach, thanks to him.

I watched an old CL final yesterday. 1960 Real-Frankfurt 7-3 in Glasgow in front of over 120,000 fans. 90 minutes of continuous UFO football. There is no such high quality today. The game was so intense that at first I thought they used to play on a smaller pitch. Liverpool's B team would be at the bottom of the English second division in today's weaker football.
