La diferencia entre Martinez por un lado, y Ten Hag y Santos por el otro, es que Martinez sabe que no DEBE prescindir de CR7, por ningun motivo. Ten Hag coloco al United en el puesto 8avo y Santos ya lo botaron de dos equipos. Ponte a pensar sacas a CR/ y metes a alguien que mete un triplete. OK. O Sr. Martinez sabe falar, estes jornalistas estão a fazer o trabalho deles, a querer saber titularidades etc.. Mas o que realmente mais gostei foi a postura deste treinador. Claramente podemos ver que tem a humildade, a inteligência e a grande vontade de levar esta equipa muito longe. Agora é esperar que tal como ele diz várias vezes, estas competições são decididas nos mais pequenos detalhes!

Portugal is simply the stronger team, and that's a fact. I get the excitement from Turkey's side after their win against Georgia. However, for Turkey to stand a chance, they would need to play their best game ever, while Portugal would need to have an off day. If both teams perform to their full potential, I predict a 4-1 victory for Portugal

Lamentável é apercebermo-nos de que ainda haja tanto português retrógrada, pequenino, de horizonte reduzido a Elvas e de mente mesquinha. O português que ficou em 1973, que ainda sonha a preto e branco com 1966, de cabeca perdida em Aljubarrota e que tem dificuldade em reconhecer e aceitar a realidade dos tempos. A sua lógica, levada às últimas, e se quiser ser coerente, é de que considera também lamentável que tantos jogadores portugueses pontuem em clubes estrangeiros e por eles sejam cobiçados, lamentável que conterrâneos seus tenham escolhido ajudar a Coreia do Sul ou o Irão em vez de prestarem os seus serviços à "Nação". Perdoe o desabafo... mas farto de nacionalistas começa a estar a maior parte do país.
