It is painful to watch Australia to lose at their fortress Gabba. Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins and Lyon are still the best bowling attack in this cricketing world. Indian batsmen showed perseverance and showed mental strength since the 36/9, 1st test. It just mattered personally to all the players in Indian team to bounce back. And, Rahane's attitude and captaincy do make a big diff. It's not always attack. Some times you need to defend [3rd test] to win big [4th test]. Test match is the pure winner here. I do feel for Paine. He made a mistake at SCG but who hasn’t. I think he has copped it unfairly on SM and will have a brutal Aussie media and pretty scathing Indian/Aussie fans on SM. I also think the questions were disrespectful. Constantly asking someone about his spot/job immediately after a heartbreaking loss is unfair and wrong. I have watched Indian cricket for 20 odd years and this is the happiest I have been. I only wish my fellow countrymen wouldn’t gloat and harangue opposition on SM behind the anonymity of a keyboard. Congrats to Aussies on a great series. This was a tough, hard uncompromising series which we won. But credit to the Aussies too!!
