The sports do have differences when it comes to the cash, but it’s still about bringing together the right relationships and talent at the end of the day. Both men have proven to be able to do that in professional sports leagues. Doubt they will suddenly would not be able to do that in the NFL. I grew up rooting for the team, and stuck with it through years and years of losing. I stopped watching when they changed the name. If they change it back, and bring back the uniforms, the legends, and “Hail To The Redskins” I might start rooting for them again. For now, the team I rooted for all those years doesn’t exist. That’s just a start. Then the character and legacy of Joe Gibbs needs to be re-infused. Yeah, a conservative, Republican, born-again Christian. The Redskins used to stand for something. And it wasn’t “diversity” or “inclusivity”, but we still had the first black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. It was about football. And winning. And character. People like Darrell Green. Leftists don’t watch football. Stop pandering to them. The Redskins already had “diversity” and “inclusivity” without talking about it all the time. Fire everybody and start from scratch. And you might start getting fans back. If your objective is to make sure “everyone doesn’t look the same”, which literally means openly discriminating against white men, rather than choosing people on merit regardless of race, just call it the Kommisars and let it die. If football is about anything other than merit-based competition, it has no reason to exist.
