This is so great and Kraken are so lucky to have a ferry horn! It's just another great nostalgic thing about our team. HOWEVER - please blow it LONGER during games so that we get a fuller effect. THe horn can be used to shame another team - use it! If you do any research on other teams 'horn celebrations' you will definitely notice that they go much longer. Thanks! STH - Dawn

It's actually an old ferry horn. You can hear a similar horn every day from the Seattle waterfront. Those ferries take thousands of commuters and tourists to Bremerton and Bainbridge Island, along with other ferry lines up and down the Puget Sound. Some islands in the area rely on the ferries to get delivery and mail vans to them.
