It depends on your application. Yes it is an air driven pump. Can you use it as a pump in every application? The answer to that question is NO. Pressurized air is expensive choice to drive a pump. But hydraulic pumping units are very expensive to purchase. If you need pressurized oil for clamping purpose or very short duration operation, and pressurized air readily available, than they are a good choice.

Thank you for your answer. I do not know how the RO process works. If you want to increase the water pressure by using air, It should work. Look at eBay for water pressure intensifier or booster.

Once I used this kind booster in rubber vulcanization process, it performed beyond my expectation.

what software is used for this simulation?

Couldn’t this be powered by hydraulic oil/pump rather than air in order to maximize output pressures of a supply pump? Are the input/output valves electronic switching or mechanical. It seems the input could be mechanical however the output may need to be a 12/24v pressure solenoid valve.

Reverse Osmosis water filtration systems also known as water maker in marine applications. I think it should work; all i need is finding one cheap enough compared to getting a very high pressure pump.

Excellent video, super helpful. Gonna use one of these to take mill air from a dismal 60 psi up to the 120 psi I need to run an air cylinder.

can you give us more information about max deep of water
@mekanizmalar9 жыл бұрын
+Abdelhamid Arfa This is an oil pressure booster by using pressurized air. Depending on the design of the booster you can get 150 bars oil pressure from 6 bars air pressure.

sr does this mechanism work exactly the same way as a pump? i mean it can replace a pump?
@gryn1s2 жыл бұрын
yes this is a pump basically
