Why leave the loader up all the time ever one of you videos has the loader parked with it up . What happens if a hose blows and Harry or jake walk under it or buddy or even you wife . No offence but please lower it to the ground your been a farmer longer enough to know things can go wrong fast .

I remember seeing (hearing) one at a rally suddenly drop, no one was near it. It wasn't up far but just shows the pressure and weight is only being held with a tiny bit of material.

That trailer is far too good to lead muck, i would leave the sides/ tailboard on as that is the trailer. Maybe elevate the coffin on wooden blocks or something on each corner with pegs so it wont slide about.

Most farmers do leave loaders up. It is better to lower them but the chance of it actually having a problem is very unlikely

@@Agri-Life09 yes well that the problem they never think anything will happen in there mind it is safe but have said the older tractors still have hoses that came with the tractor from new a lot of the time also rats and mice like to eat the rubber of the outside of the hose ..it not worth the risk when working the tractor at least you in it or on it if something does go amiss .

If I lived near, I would brought my Karcher 140 bar pressure washer. We could have snow foamed it first 😂 then blasted the dirt off. It could have been varnished and painted after it was dried. Regards to all at New House Farm 🎉

Invest in a hot water blaster, the water is heated by a diesel burner best thing have bought for the farm. It does an amazing job of getting the dirt ,oil off machinery

Pressure washing is good enough ,I assisted at a friend’s funeral and he went to Chesterfield crematorium on a bale trailer, may need clean wooden batons to rest coffin on.

Speaking of which, maybe you could have gave a once over to that as well while you had it out 😊.
