I may do a Dr Pepper or make my own honey mustard glaze we will see who I make another. I do have to admit I enjoy the ham as sandwiches for work. thanks!

Good morning. That ham looks beautiful. What brand was it? I’m not a ham lover either but I do have a great recipe for cooking in the slow cooker.

I was up hiking and picked it up at Walmart-it was the honey glazed spiral ham. they had a salted caramel one but...... I'm intrigued but...... I may have to get a small one just to see. what it is all about. I just think desert when I see salted caramel. I think it's a good idea to use slow cook method and next time I'm going to try to cook it ham side down so the layers dont separate or use some cooking twine to hold it together. makes for more moist ham and better presentation. we eat with our eyes first. Thanks sandra!

You never want your ham boiling in broth of any kind completely changes the texture of the meat.

first thing out of my mouth...DONT DROP IT :) yeah it has a bad rep for burning. I was thinking too that the cook time was to long. Why temp it since its already cooked? I was given a ham for christmas, its a Petite Jean boneless smoked ham but will have to put on scale to see what it weighs. I am the 13th like..oh lord bad luck for the day lol

Lol- you are my number one fan and I appreciate it so much-and consider you a friend -may seen weird as we never met. If you ever make it out to Arizona I will cook and take you to White pocket! oh and some boating on lake Powell. think I temped it just to make sure it came up to 165F. I may pick up another ham and try this again-wish I could get a smaller one -so hard to find one. but people at work are happy-:). there is a learnigncurve with this appliance -eggs came out great, rubs were good(not like outside but very tasty) Gonna look up a petite jean boneless ham. thanks celle-no bad luck! always good luck!

@@pressurecrisp I know, I dont know you at all but thru here with your videos..somehow I connect with you. Are we long lost relatives lol I honestly think of you as a friend..and sometimes I think oh lord I bet Lisa thinks I'm a stalker or someone weird..heck I would lol Ok would it have mattered if it did not come to 165 since its fully cooked? You are making me second guess in getting rid of this thing and giving the headache to my sister :) There are just more complaints about it than there are good comments. Girl you would have to come to Arkansas as we never travel anywhere. It would be so much fun to explore White pocket.

lo-I think myself weird-lol. But nope we are just being ourselves and enjoying life. I'm trying to stop caring what people think -especially me offloading working on my jeeps but it's who I am-and yes I love getting pedicures and being girly but I'm just being me. true to myself! I love to cook, hike, off-road work on cars, read too many things to list. I really haven't looked at if there are many vids on the possible cooker-I know Stephanie's kitchen has a few and she actually inspired me to get the appliance plus it was on sale. I'm going to try her chicken recipe and she is working on a turkey breast video. Think next I'm going to try a whole chicken and some soups but I have to bring food to work as it's way too much for me. and I dont want to throw it all away. I just finished a rib vid for the possible cooker -I set it to come out tomorrow . I gotta run-gotta get to my campsite 2 1/2 hours away. talk to ya tomorrow-maybe from mountain top on a live !

@pressurecrisp think i told i am 70 but really like 30 in my soul and mind. I am no where like ppl my age. A gf of mine one day complimented saying You dont act your age and shes in her early 30s and we're great friends..i always say she is my sister from another mister lol. Now I aint girly and own nothing girly, not a purse, makeup girl clothes other than we have to wear bras lol What is Stephanies youtube page? I would love to use this darn thing. What I love doing is read, listen to music of 70s and do genealogy. Cooking is not on my favorites list lol but gotta eat. Ok run, have fun and be safe.

Yea I'm not a lover of ham either and holy heck is that a big chunk of ham! How are you finding the new possible cooker? If there's one thing i've found with every Ninja appliance like this, is the pots tend to burn things in the bottom like you experienced, it's odd When i had the all in one ninja, the saute/fry was never hot enough and took forever to come up to heat, so i never used it The pressure cook function was also really funny about sauces being too thick, despite them cooking perfectly fine in much cheaper pressure cookers. Love their grills, not so much their general cookers.

Morning Adam! think its afternoon for you. It's a learning curve as with all their appliances. I have made a few items still need to edit those vids. I made ribs, hard boiled eggs -not a lot as I just got it. Oh and pulled pork-did great with this. and I think it will work well for soups. and I am picking up this week beef short ribs to try that recipe -need a few ingredients for tis recipe and will see how it does. the Botton does get hot but will look for a thin silicone trivet to use -dont know why they make a metal one that will scratch the nonstick coating -company should just switch to silivcone items-just saying-not bashing but just pointing out. I do have a bunch of recipes I want to try in this cooker. I think if you dont have a slow cooker/crock pot or if your current one breaks then I would pick this one up. may have to do a vid on appliance after I get a bit more experience with it. but right know its an 8/10 I am going to expand my cooking appliances-what do you recommend getting that's not a Ninja appliance? one company is sending me a an air fryer and it has one feature that ninja needs to get on their appliances but dont want to spoil it here-I am so looking forward to receiving this air fryer. it should arrive this next week sometime. this is a long response lol

@@pressurecrisp Yea when I had the ninja foodi multi cooker thing, I was SO careful when using the metal racks, but they scratched the heck out of the inner bowl regardless of how gentle I was, it only took a few uses and I'd already noticed marks appearing. I guess they kinda learnt their lesson with the Speedi, I notice the legs that hold the tray are silicone coated, but I see with the possible cooker the rack is stainless steel Bit odd, all they would have to do is supply some silicone gromits(sp) for the bits that touch the bowl. I don't have any suggestions appliance wise that I can think of.....unless, what about the Ninja Creami for ice cream/yoghurt/sorbets? Yum! :P

@@pressurecrisp I've seen a lot of videos where people make the different ice creams, sorbets and frozen yoghurts It looks good, but I don't know, I think I'd rather use a traditional ice cream maker with the built in compressor, as one of the issues people have quite often with the creami, is the ingrediants they add, don't get mixed in properly, even when using the respin function. I rarely eat ice cream though so i doubt i'll ever get one...maybe...but now I'm craving salted caramel ice cream haha.
