i m from marseille i ve all the reccords of the damned one question: is that scabies who plays drums ? And the name of the bassist ? i heard damned in 1980 for the first time (15 at that time) i ve see them in 1985 at cherbourg after Clash at Gehenno thanks for that video

@@c.leconte4149 The bassist is Jon Priestley (currently playing with The Godfathers). He has replaced Paul Gray for a few gigs from time to time since Paul rejoined the band. Jon is a great bloke. I talked to him before The Godfathers' gig at SuperSonic in Paris, France, in early 2020. Down to earth.

Saw the Damned a few years ago in Dublin Ireland. One of THE BEST shows I've ever been to. Their energy, their pure passion for the music, the quality of the playing, the sound, the stage presence. Dave Vanian even came over to me and got me to say "Is she really going out with him?" to start New Rose. One of my fondest memories that I'll cherish forever.

They certainly still do rawk! Not difficult when you have great (but loose and trashy - the best kind) musicians and a set of songs that covers everything apart from Funk. Punk Pink Floyd. Syd Barratt would have found a happy home here.
