Yes I have bought this from Amazon.Not ony this, I have bought many cookers from amazon.It is safe.. Plz Check the items fully as soon as you recieve the product from amazon, if any defect return or replace it and buy again. I never had any issues so far and we get good discounts too. Still if you prefer to buy from shop to have clear idea abt capacity and all go for that👍

Yes...but do remove whistle and gasket...I usually wash like that

Just soak the daal before cooking with a pinch of Baking powder in a vessel. Before putting it in the pressure cooker,just wash the pulse thoroughly in water and then put in the cooker with sufficient water. Definitely it will cook fully..

Wow my fav.boiled rice.... I too have d same cooker ... I prepare boiled rice every day... but I dnt cook directly, I use a container n den cook...it'll taste better than direct cooking

We use Matta rice in Kerala. The cooking method is different from basmathi rice. It has more nutrients and cooking time is higher too.. once cooked in pressure cooker with excess water, the starch water will be fully strained. The last pic is the strained rice.. we also use basmathi rice mainly for fried rice, ponni or idli rice for dosa and jeera or kaima rice for all biryanis

Why water get away from presure cooler? I have this issue

Its quite normal while making rice, when we fill half of the cooker with water.. put on high flame for the first whistle and after that reduce the flame to lowest until the rice is cooked

When I cook dal I do double boil method.. I put dal in a small steel veesel, fill it with water.. then pour some water in cooker and place the vessel inside it and place lid and weight and cook.. its safe and nothing comes out
