Thank you so much for making this series of videos for CELPIP takers, and I really appreciate the effort you made and the quality of your tutorial. I just have one little question about this video: the question is asking us to "explain", but "solution" is also included in the template and the sample answer. I think this is a great idea as it sounds very natural, yet may I know if we could be considered "giving irrelevant answers" when we talk about how we are going to resolve the issue? I am not looking to pick any mistakes out of your video, I am just a bit curious about how we should strike a balance between the scoring criteria and the naturalness of our answer. That's a great question. Presenting a solution/compromise shouldn't really be considered irrelevant because it's part of our explanation. Knowing that something can be a potential solution to the situation , the person prefers one option over the other. Keep in mind, , this is a 1 minute response, which means you don't want to spend too much time on this. I'd say one sentence talking about the solution is enough.
