Great video introduction guys. Had one of these boxes since they were released in U.K. last year, a graphite version. Upgraded from Offbox 3D managed to declutter to what I need in box only reducing the weight to minimum . . Must say for the money it’s proved good value. Top tray under seat takes 2 PI winder trays and the same with the lower cassette , 30mm legs great being able to use existing accessories that fitted. Hope you enjoy its benefits Zoe

Fantastic box! I have the graphite grey one and love it. I added a pole winder drawer to mine. You can take the runners off the cassette box and add that too

I updated my box from a watercraft to a PI sl30 not in the same league as this one ,but absolutely love it ,and the interchangeably of bits is good.

Boxes are definitely a personal preference, I have had an early onbox with square 19mm legs for years. I have just got a good deal on a second hand absolute, with the 30mm legs. It hasn't made me a better angler but boy is it comfortable and stable😊👍.

Hi, I've just brought one of these stations. Does anyone know how to take the plastic runners off the bottom tray to add it to the unser seat? I'm struggling to figure it out and don't want to break them. Thanks.

Hello! I am looking to purchase one of these crates recently and would like to know what your positive and negative experiences have been with the crate and if I have heard correctly the Preston crate is a discontinued product. have you heard anything about it? And if it's a discontinued product, how many modules or accessories are there? You made a very well put together video of the chest. Best regards, Tibor

Hi Tibor, thanks for your comment, I am not sure what you mean by crate? Do you mean box? I don't know about discontinuing them? But I know that all the trays are interchangeable with the other boxes😊👍

Just ordered one of these to swap out with my unused SL30 Inception. Prefer the look and rigidity of these, plus the tackle tray slide in. Hopefully as good as, if not better than the SL30 h framed box, which is still a very nice and decent bit of kit itself

The box would also be for a 110kg man. Maintain the settings of the legs or move them. I had such a problem with a chair. Every time you move, some foot is misaligned. Thx

I personally use an old preston Absolute 30mm leg box, I weigh over 110kg, and I don't have any issues on the venues I fish, but I have never use the box in the video so can't really comment with any authority.

Great seatbox and I only paid £350 for mine and most of the stuff for the absolute will fit this box if the inception ones aren't available

Yes mate, I have an older Absolute and the parts for this will fit that too. I can't complain about mine apart from its heavy.....but doesn't bother me😊👍

What's the height like pal? I'm 5'10, I watched Ben Cook's review and it looked high but he's a bit shorter than me. I like my legs to be at 90° or pole fishing becomes difficult. By the way I have a garbolino gmaxx 700 for sale with 10 top kits, I notice you use the gmaxx 1000

Pretty but not built to last,very little storage, its lighter because your carrying extra gear in other bags , wouldn't swap it for my xs which I've had for 10 years

Octboxs are well-made, bit of a marmite box I think. I know anglers that love um. I know others that sold them couldn't get on with them.😊👍

I can't remember how much around 500 I think. Zoe does mention the price towards the end of the video. The box is lighter than the absolute 36. We didn't have any scales so couldn't weigh it. If your looking for a light box, H frame style boxes are lighter less metal. Obviously if you fill it full of tackle it will get heavier.😊👍

Been a while since I reviewed this but I think they do only come out one side? You can swap the draw section around so you can pick which side.

@@AverageAngler thank you. I now have a brand new one in my garage waiting to be used. My old Preston box had drawers you could open from either side, which was really handy. Guess I'll soon get used to the one sided access though. 👍🏻
