It was all in French! There is usually a specific order in which you put things together or it won't work right. I'm usually the annoying reader of the instructions while hubby does the actual work. It got done and that's the important thing right? No more going up and down all those steps foe every little thing!

Hey New Balance are good! I'm only in my 30s and I've come to appreciate the quality and durability of their product over the competition. So many of my previous shoes/trainers from other brands came apart in less than 2 years from use. The NB ones I have now are over 5 years old and still going strong.

wet burlap (sack cloth) with a tarp to shade it works better than cardboard and spraying it down (misting) a few times a day in hot weather. I think it is like a week per inch of mortar for curing time. The sack cloth can be washed and reused to wrap your trees in the winter to prevent damage from heavy snow on the evergreens. The cost of the sac cloth is a good investment. You have lots of lime work to do and you have lots of trees to wrap after. See you Tomorrow! Congrats on the elevator!!

Being an Australian bloke aged 69, I'm well aware of the damage the sun can to one's body. I have scars all over my back, shoulders, chest, face and head from the surgical removal of skin cancers. I have so many suture scars, like pale ladders, that I'm sure Frankenstein's creation would be jealous. Boys, put on shirts and 50+ sunscreen! Skin cancer can and does KILL!

They make nice looking hydraulic lifts for houses and hotels and chateaus these days, some are circular and look really neat. I doubt Dan will go for something traditional, I'm guessing he's not going to go for a traditional look in his chateau but for a more modern twist.

Unfortunately there isn't enough space for that. At the moment there's a little bit of space for winching stuff up because Dan built the ramps quite a bit narrower than the original stairs but I think the new stairs should be as wide as the original ones and that means they'll take up all the space in the stair well. The only sensible place to put a lift would be in the salon/back bedrooms with doors knocked through the centre wall into the stair hall.

If you have a swarm of bees you should contact a local beekeeper. They will come and rescue the hive and give it a good home. Bees need to be protected.
