I'll be so curious to see how the gaps between the four current roofs get connected and filled. It's all coming together so fast now but that's a lot of space with a lot of different angles and planes to marry up. Hope the weather holds itself back for a few weeks.

Hi -great work. The septique -a couple of comments. French environment regs have been upgraded around septiques and there is a periodic inspection. It might be worth speaking to the 'Commune' and get it checked/reported on. If work needs doing to upgrade it -move it further away from the Chateau -they whiff in the summer, and extend the dirtywater run offs. Whilst you have the machinery and before you do the outside works -it would make sense.

Guys, this is one of the more interesting projects on KZbin. While it is fun to watch, I have some questions. What is the end use for this property ? Why are you fooling around with such a small crew when so much more could be accomplished with proper project management? At the rate you are going you will be too old to enjoy this place. If you plan on using it yourself, put in a proper elevator or two. Winter is coming and you guys go off on a mountain trip then waste good weather messing around outside. Get a contractor to come in and work while you get the structure water tight. Cover all openings and make provisions for heat. A house of this size could have multiple crews working in separate rooms not to mention you need all mechanical work done. No matter what you do, stay safe.

Been watching from the start, have years of repairing, replace, restore on a way more modest scale. If you haven’t done work like this, you probably get cranky if you are focusing on one aspect of chateau ing. There are priorities you may not understand. Open septic, pretty compelling, clearing ground for plants that must get in the ground essential. Available equipment, ditto. Sometimes I feel like I’m in an overly large car with kids in the back seat…
