We follow Des through a midweek open match at a freezing Acorn Fishery! With the conditions being so cold we fully expected it to be a difficult day. However, Des proved his class yet again by amassing an incredible catch which may or may not have won him a few pennies!

Whenever I watch a Dess Ship video certainly on this occasion I find it's as his first videos (winning pegs 1,2,3, Mallory park with bulldozers comes to mind) it's just another level. These live matches ,this one in particular, I always learn.... Quote"I never go without white maggots". Anglers are frightened to pick up the Catapult. Dess. Thanks for yet another lesson......

Another cracking film. Being new to pole fishing, these videos are excellent and have such great tips. One thing I wondered about which I've not seen before is Des occaonally breaking down his top kit. What's the reason for doing that?

Truly brilliant, you do make me laugh. Watching that video I would have struggled. Thanks for the time and effort. It would be good for me if at the end there was a diagram of rigs used with shotting patterns and distances etc. This makes it easier to replicate when making up rigs at home and know just to go end of your video to find them all. Thanks for taking the time and I will watch this a few more times and try to absorb as much detail as possible. I would not have catapulted bait and what an error that would have been, I will in future . Thanks again.

They do make a significant difference to the poles performance. Each sticker is located on the the spine of the section, which when aligned will make the pole stiffer.
