Every claw machine is rigged. When I went to Taiwan with my friend we played with the claw machines and won a total of about 16 things or so over two weeks. Claw machines may be rigged, but if you have the right strategy, you can win things. You see, you aren't supposed to grab it from the top. Try from the side where the claw can have a better grip. Sometimes, the claw will sort of bounce when it comes up, causing it to drop whatever got picked up. So basically, you want to go for the ones that are closer.
