I was having a really sad Sunday after my husband died of Covid. And then I found this…and the thought of my husband hearing music this beautiful in Heaven brought peace and joy to my broken heart. All the the praise goes to Jesus. For sure.

Like the woman who commented below me, I lost my wife to COVID. My imagination is not adequate to comprehend singing like this in heaven. We are promised that it is more beautiful and glorious than we can fathom. This is just a glimpse. It is comforting. My broken heart longs to see her yet I realize that she is experiencing peace and joy like I can't imagine. All praise to Jesus.

Imagine being man, singing your heart out to this, and even the angels are silenced. Angels can't worship the way we do. They've never been saved, known grace, mercy, or redemption. Only we have. And as we worship, the heavens are silenced as our father listens to the redeemed sing their praise. I only imagine that heavenly choir has been quiet for as long as one person sang out in praise. We performed this today at our church (Easter Sunday) as our offertory/anthem piece and it was so incredibly powerful. Most of us in the orchestra and choir had tears when we finished. And our amazing tech team recreated all the lighting and stain glass effect. Thank you Prestonwood!
