Patch 2.6 being dry actually became a good thing for me. I can enjoy arknights chapter 14 to the fullest and focus on my thesis without worrying that I'm missing out much on hsr. I hope i win 50/50 on aventurine banner tho since i have his upgrade mats since yunli's patch

Real. Im so glad we have dead patches from time to time because we got other things in life we have to do. Funny you mentioned arknights, i also played ch 14 and even started IS 3 after not playing it for the longest time. Fun times

Yeah, besides the rhythm event(it's fun to me, cause I'm more of a music person) this version has been dry. I can just do grinding for more jades , just to go all out once Sunday goes live in 2.7.

Felt, I wasn't a fan of the 2.6 livestream and was hoping the patch will be better, but beyond Sunday prefarming, there's been so little happening for me in HSR that I started playing Wuwa again and have been having a ton of fun speedrunning all the events that are about to end before version update. Literally rejoined to pull Camellya, since on release the three characters I wanted were her, Scar, and Geshu Lin. They even added a returning player event which is nice, since there wasn't one the first time I tried to get back into it lol. Hopefully 2.7 will be so fire I won't have time for Wuwa again lmao cheers!

Acheron was the greatest mistake. She destroyed the entire meta with her big screenshots, and they decided that this damage is normal now and new characters need also be this strong. And then proceeded releasing even more absurdly buffed characters and raising the bar even higher as if it still wasn't enough. What frustrates me most is the amount of 50/50 I've lost during 2.x compared to 1.x. I lost only once out of 4 in 1.x, but then proceeded to get firefly, ruan mei, jiaoqiu and rappa totally on guaranteed soft pities back to back in 2.x. My old characters are turned into trash, my passes were stolen and all that was left for me to do is to enjoy the "exciting" gameplay of acheron for 6 versions straight. Forced 2 play acheron main. Can't wait for 3.0 to completely denolish my acc

In terms of my pulling plans, I decided to go for E0S1 Sunday instead of trying to get E2 Dan Heng but yeah, I agree 2.6 is very boring (good for me since I have exams though). I do want to ask you though, I'm thinking of getting into Arknights after my exams but I heard its like a 100hr+ visual novel so idk if I should start....

Great game to start, definitely recommended, unfortunately global is just about to wrap up their big celebration with 2 insane units on a banner, so if you can I'd recommend starting asap and trying to get 1 of em before they're gone. Global has some pretty nice stuff lined up for it, good to start around now (earlier ish would be ideal but better late than never), but since you have exams that may be a problem. Visual novel part is quite hard, depends on your reading speed mainly, if it helps, there's an anime covering up to episode 6, there's season 3 in works which will cover 7-8, currently it's up to episode 14, and then a bunch of side stories/events.

The banner ends on the 13th, unfortunately. And I'd definitely recommend the anime more, but the anime hasn't covered half the main story so you'd be forced to read if you're interested in the lore at all, unfortunately there's no date for season 3 of the anime either so if you decide to wait for that over reading, could be a minute. The anime does cover the same stuff but pretty much just cuts down heavily on the filler kinda stuff going on, excess yapping gets thrown out pretty much.

I pulled for Rappa and without having Ruan Mei or Gallagher and she performs worse in PF than Feixiao, March, Robin, Bailu 😭 I feel like I can't even make her work 😭

@@IgnasV yeah having yunli is definitely gonna overshadow rappa for a while. But ruan mei is great support I suggest picking up regardless, and Gallagher is a 4 star so hopefully you can get rappas team along the way.

@ yeah I’d say Rappa (and firefly) are arguably the most support reliant, like they NEED Ruan Mei to be top tier. When they have her they become some of the best dps in the game, but Feixiao without robin is way better than Rappa or firefly without Ruan Mei yeah

@@levi3248 Yeah, when I slotted in March, Moze, Feixiao, Bailu together they still worked fairly well. Yes it was worse than Robin, but usable. Rappa without Ruan Mei is just not fun to use sadly :/ Against Imaginary weak it's fairly okay because both HMC and Rappa can break them, if it's not imaginary weak, Rappa struggles even in PF. I thought Yunli was my worst pull after Feixiao and Robin, but turns it was Rappa :/ I say Yunli because without her light cone she barely gets hit, and Lynx doesn't heal enough to keep her alive in MoC11 and above. No Huohuo makes her not have enough energy, and I don't have Pela or Tingyun so she doesn't really have good support options because Robin is with Feixiao for 80% of the fights.

i use e0s1 acheron w jiaoqiu (e0s0) and while i’ll never regret pulling her bc of how she has carried me (plus her technique will always be useful) it is very likely she will fall off in future patches UNLESS you continuously invest in her (getting eidolons and eidolons for her supports) ! if you rlly like her, then absolutely go for her ! i would just recommend that you continue to to invest in her ! however, if you’re looking to follow future meta (summons, yada yada), i would recommend not going for her

Look you can't expect your DPS to be relevant forever ,all of them will fall off eventually, your goal should be to estimate how many jades you can get per patch and how many characters can you get per patch and decide based on that. Like if I get Acheron now when can I have enough jades to get another character. I'm not expecting any significant meta shifts until 3.2 because that should be when we get new TB path based on what happened previously in 2.2. And Acheron is the type of character who can only get powercrept by introducing another DPS having higher multipliers, because she has been very well designed and the way her ult charge works can only be countered by enemies having higher eff res but I hardly think they would do something of that sort because it will kill DoT teams entirely. Anyways my point is that Acheron is placed very nicely right now so that you can clear any content with her but we can't predict the future.

If you don't already have her, she's kinda an easy skip due to new meta in 3.0 around summons. Even at e0s1 she's fallen off harder than I thought. Just not on the same level as Firefly or Feixiao.

Why you played the rythym event first before the 2.6 main story lmao? Also Rappa story is peak ngl, I thought this gonna be a filler story but yet again they proved me wrong. It's the same when Boothill got announced and people doomposted him because he came out of nowhere but then he became fan favourite. For story content I usually cut it into two halves and I will only play each half every saturday per week while I locked on my college from monday to friday. I did the same for main event after that. There's also new SimUni DLC that I play every now and then so I don't get bored.

"Rappa story is peak" seriously🤨. 6hrs of story (literally the same as the entirety of the natlan act 3 and act 4 combined) for a character that is irrelevant to the main lore, where 3hrs of it can be resumed to banana brainrot in a fricking student classroom is horrendous. If you really call it peak then I'm really sorry to tell you that your standards for story are quite low. I saw so many youtubers play the story, and getting completely asleep doing it, because they didnt even know what the hell they were doing, and the fun fact is that these same youtubers put peak story in their thumbnail just so the hsr fanbase dont kill them for criticising their game, that's saying something. Just stop sucking hsr balls bro, when they do good stuff it is insane, but when they mess up they really mess up

Most of gacha youtubers has gold fish brain and don't really pay attention to the story. Most of them play the story while also streaming it which ruins their own immersion because of the chats. Natlan story is great too but the reason why they can pay attention is because of the new environment and flashy cutscenes. But a story doesn't need flashy cutscenes to be great, just good writing. From me personally, the reason why Rappa story great is because the same reason with Wardance arc: they both exist not just for the sake of selling new characters but also continue what we left on in the main story. You got new villain that actually foreshadows a bigger villain in the future, there's also Mr. Reca's mysteries and his connection to Amphoreus, and more Boothill screentime and in-depth view to his personality.

Detroit become human, Danganronpa, Undertale/Deltarune stomps anything hoyo ever made in term of story aspect. But you gotta give them a credit to make good "filler" story that can compete with big patches stories.
