Thank you for sharing this. Pretty darn cool indeed! I would even give it a "PRETTY dang great!" With all those different "shuffles" and choices by the spectator, the most astute or skeptical of spectators would be convinced that the cards are hopelessly mixed up and randomized. I would also have them cut after the Charlier Shuffle (although not anywhere else in the routine). One possible alternative effect would be as follows: After the spectator chooses which pile they want at the end, the magician could hold his/her pile behind the back, then bring a card forward face-down, tap it on the top card of the spectator's pile, and turn both cards over to show a match, continuing this procedure until the cards in both piles have been exhausted. With some acting/showmanship, this would be a nice demonstration of the performer's ESP.
