Didn't expect the venus one to be red either, maybe more of a peachy orange tone :3 But I really love all lip colours tbh!

FOR THE COLORS: I believe that they choose colors according to the Guardian's look and style.... A bright red lip for blonds, a red brown-ish lip for Black hair... A Brown lip for Brunettes ... and a pink lip for lighter hair.... Thats what I think :)

Well, there is a difference between the Anime colors and the Manga colors. The line is clearly based on the 90's anime, and not the manga. Regardless, I am no make-up expert! LOL my opinion shouldn't even count 🤣

I was the type of sailor moon fan that has been disappointed in makeup brands missing the mark on Sailor moon (looking at you Colourpop). I will justify my purchase of the lipsticks because at least Maybelline's formula is on point! 😂😁

This collection looks really cool! I actually feel like the colors suit their personalities/clothing styles, Mercury's would be more soft, Mars would be very sophisticated, Jupiter is stylish but not too girly and Venus is bright and feminine. They all suited you really well too! I think Jupiter was my favorite on you, it somehow really brought out your eye color if that is possible for a lipstick haha

I find that mercury colour is a good everyday pink but Venus is great for special occasion exspecialy when your on date night with Venus colour

I think the sailor moon makeup lipsticks are very pretty.😊🤩🌙💄 I like how it looks simple and natural. I completely agree that I originally bought these because Sailor Moon. I only bought the Mars lip stick in addition the the mascara and liner. However once I saw how well the lipstick stayed on I went ahead and got the other three.

The Maybelline liquid lips used for this SM line are IMPOSSIBLE to remove! All of them actually, the regular line, and the collabs. Got myself one of the Marvel ones earlier this year without knowing any better, huge mistake! Even the Garnier makeup remover, which can dissolve practically anything, was defeated... The only thing that helped was vaseline or vaseline-based chapstick rubbed generously, then left on the lips for around 30sec. Took me a while to find that out! Sailor Mars looks good on you, give it a go sometime!

i suggest using them as lipliners with a tiny lip brush! lip liners never stay on my lips and it's the only thing that does, they work amazingly.

Love the review on the make up! Very well done. I bought this whole collection myself from Amazon Japan thanks to you 😊. My favorite lipstick color on you would be Jupiter. It's a lovely deep red/slightly brown mix. I cannot wait to try these on me. I want to know how it looks on a tanned person like me. Between Colorpop and Maybelline Japan, I would pick the mix of the 2. The lipsticks from Japan look and smell much better compared to ColourPop. I do like the blush, glitters, and some of the eyeshadows in the palate from ColourPop collection. It's hard to pick between the two 😅. Creer Beaute should release more makeup too. Their lipbalms and lipstick packaging are AMAZING! 💖🌙

Hey Ochi, super later getting here i know. I havent gotten any of this makeup yet and no clue if i can but i think you are right with slapping the Guardians on existing products bc i do use a maybelline eyeliner just like that that i love its the 'master precise allday' and sounds very similar to how you described it. Also im sure someone already said for the lipstick, you probably need something oil based to remove it, im a smashbox liquid lip girl and these sound like sim fomula and its super tough to get off otherwise. New here and really enjoying the reviews and tips for merch!

I also use the Kat von d eyeliner but now I’m curious about this maybelline one. Is it just called hyper sharp liner if I wanted to buy it as a regular maybelline product? Personally I think brownish lipsticks look classy and little bit edgy. Your aesthetic mb is more bright and colorful but I though they looked v nice

Great review Ochi. I'm like you and gravitate towards pinkier colors. I think Maybelline did a terrible job with the packaging as far as creativity goes. I was disappointed in that regard. Colourpop did the packaging much better imo and I loved their line soooo much!!
