Atlanta was built on the back of civil rights and music. Recently it's been hip hop music. Atlanta has gotten in a lot of tech companies and other sectors of business and right now they don't care about the rap industry. They don't think that they need that to make this city tick. They are trying to gentrify Atlanta as a whole and independent rap music doesn't play into that landscape. Get rid of the independent artist or labels and there's not as many multi-million dollar businesses that are black that are out there. They've been trying to bankrupt the city by taking Hartsfield-Jackson Airport away from it and also taking Buckhead away. These are the two major Revenue sources for the city. Once they do that they can take over the whole city. Mark my words they are going to make civil rights in Martin Luther King's Memorial into a novelty in Atlanta's no longer going to be seen as a chocolate City
