exactly. he totally disappeared. it's been more than ten years since his albums came out. they were amazing. some of the songs are TOP quality imo. he even deleted his Instagram account. hope he is ok and comes back soon!

Heroin is a nasty drug and as a former addict myself (from Denver where it’s a huge problem) I suspect that he’s got enough money and dope to not give a fuck about anything else. A lot of people will comment on him looking “Hella baked” but that’s H not weed in my opinion. I know it killed my enthusiasm for music and made me want nothing but sleep and silence when I was on that bullshit! Hopefully I’m wrong but that’s my theory at the moment. The whole problem with that drug (besides overdose obviously) is that the euphoria is so strong you’ll trade everything else in the world, no matter how good or important, for that stupid black tar!

Thank you @altapowskier for posting this! And by the way, PL music for myself is along the lines of Deadmau5, Nirvana, Rick James all wrapped into one. Derek saved my life several times mentally and emotionally. His sets are recorded so beautifully and in the right form. Well part of why Red Rocks is better is because everyone checks their bullshit at the entrance gates and people aren’t too cool for the room. The place is too beautiful for even the hottest chick to think she’s the eye candy. You just let go, light a blunt, drop some L and nerd out on the music. I can see Ibiza being full of people who are “too cool” to let go like that.
