Wow, i can't believe how many trolls are bashing this brilliant piece of music. Pretty Lights is far beyond your average electronic/dubstep act. He is constantly pushing boundaries with his sounds, always pushing his limits. This remix is him in a nut shell. Pure versatility, innovation, and a great taste in music. I suggest you download all his albums (all free downloads on his website), smoke a joint, chill the fuck out, and discover some of the greatest music of our generation.

Believe it or not but I recorded this specific song from Pretty Lights set (I don't remember which one but it was so long ago) and I was listetning to this ripped song with poor quality becase nobody could identify it. Not human, nor Shazam. When I finally found it (after like 6 years or more) I was like - HOLY FUCK THIS IS THE SONG! Oh my god this song is so powerfully chill. Its just amazing.

@bennyv04988 I see dubstep as being kind of an evolving electro-sonic monster that shape shifts between outings. The DJs do their work with the records and their synthesizers and effects and all that stuff, and sometimes great music comes out. Other times though... and not often... the dubstep monster comes through. When that happens, equipment gets destroyed and our ear holes are ravaged. The monster belongs to no man. It cannot be captured, it only appears of its own will. And we like it.

A lot of people are clearly confused... So I aim to clear this up. He started making hip hop beats in high school. He started making more complex shit, but didn't show it off. What he was making was not dubstep, it was extremely expressive music in which he spoke through samples. Dubstep is categorized as minimalist music consisting of an oscillating (wub wub) bass and a heavy drum beat typically sitting at 140 bpm. If anything it's all simply EDM. This is the first stab at dub-esque music.
