I watched the original one, I enjoyed it until the 5th season I think, then it has lost its sense (my opinion) it was kinda ridiculous. I wasn't planning to watch this one but you convinced me!! 🤩 maybe it'll be my new obsession as far as motherland fort salem is about to end and I'll feel alone 😭 (no way this can beat it, though)

This was a glaring example of how I'm so not the target audience, I see everyone excited about this but for me it was a real struggle to get through those 3 episodes. I've spent so much time on analyzing what makes certain media good or bad and it's hard for me to ignore some cringey stuff for the sake of just enjoying it. I will say it's at least well shot, some characters look like goddesses and there's good horror elements. It's fun for sure, I'm just an old fart.

interesting! I also didn't consider myself the target audience when they announced it, because I never really liked the original show, but gave it a shot after the first trailer made it look so different and refreshing compared to the og. I'm really invested and that's because I didn't expect much when I first heard about it, but then felt pleasantly surprised with the first episode drop. I've recently hit a slump where neither books nor shows can excite me, because I guess the plot 5 minutes in. So having a show centered around a masked mystery killer and having the characters "nancy drew-ing" clues and theories is exactly what I needed. I had to really think and watch for clues with the characters. granted - the finale aired today and I got a few things right again - but all in all there were lots of possibilities and theories floating around that made it so intense! the camera work is great, especially compared to other tv shows, the set design and horror elements really elevate the show. I think the acting is good, and even cringey lines don't make me visibly flinch. I love how you said "ignoring cringey stuff for the sake of enjoying it" I think that I am able to do just that with this show! I will wrap up this reaction series relatively quickly (hopefully) and will get back to stuff I have been cooking on the backburner for a while now. Maybe you will find those videos and shows more enjoyable! 🤠😊

@@PattyBab Irma Vep might be pretty different but I enjoyed it, it's got a lot of drama. I know there's other shows to recommend, I'll have to think. Of course I love stuff like Westworld but there's still some stuff that goes under the radar that I click out of curiosity then fall in love with. It's funny that despite knowing A is doing these things, there's still plenty of mystery involving who/why. Oh and don't forget to finish The Wilds. It's one of the only ones I finished without your blessing lol

Hello! Could you also react to Sleep With Me series? The 1st episode is live on youtube. It's about an inter-abled relationship of two women (one in a wheelchair and the other has sleep syndrome) It's the fluffiest and light hearted WLW 6 episodes series. And the quality of the cinematography is inspired by Edward Hopper's Nighthawks and writing can be compared to reading your own fave novel/fanfic on a cuddliest night. The overall runtime is only around 2.5 hours. We hope you enjoy it!
