I love how they filmed this scene three times. Once with Caleb being in the hoodie, once with Paige and then with Toby just so no one would know for sure who was helping Mona until the episode aired. I tried finding the scenes on KZbin but haven’t yet, you can see them on the DVD box set though.

Mona and Toby even ezras reveal worked because they were long running characters who had close relationships with the girls. It was shocking and mind blowing. Yeah it hurts knowing they could hurt the girls but for a show reveal it’s good. With Cece and Alex it doesn’t because we don’t have that great of an attachment to them. They should of chosen characters that would of shocked or hurt the characters and the audience. Because then it’s a reveal that would stick with you. Cece and Alex weren’t interesting and gripping enough.

Mona is the original A. Toby was on the A team, working with Mona to find out who is red coat. Then after Mona ended in Radley and she was drugged up, Cece stole the game from Mona and kept torturing the girls till season 6. Mona is the original A and Cece is the big A, Toby was an A helper.
