Pretty Near the Bottom

This is a weirdly captivating music and lyrics, gets me near the dark edge of manic stage but only near it, I´m not pushed over to the bottom to the depression state that usually follows. Whoever manages to live with manic depression knows that manic is the best feeling just before getting closer to the edge - before all hell breaks loose and you tumble down. I´m glad I found this song, makes me feel alive again without being afraid to feel it.

Was born in Oregon….2022 got a chance with my family for them to keep FOT. Full Circle••manic depression hit hard while locked in a condo with my visual thoughts of my kidnapping, rape & torture; if I’d been home I would have blown my brains out!!! Thankfully I had help from the Spiritual Realm of God & today I can say, there is Hope & refuge in His loving mercy to comfort one during suicidal thoughts….it’s hard to push the stain away, every second of moving through & in the pain, it is worth it, when you get to the other side of your personal tribulations. I’m proof.

I'm obsessed with MOTM & particularly with this song. With hauntingly beautiful lyrics & frenzied background music they've perfectly described the manic depressed state that I often find myself in. It's been a hard, lonely existence that I'll be happy to leave behind when it's my time to go.

ngl at first I was here just out of curiosity bcs my crush been listening to it, but I ended up liking this song more than I'd like to. turns out it became personal to me, I felt my soul so connected to this song the first time I heard it. the instruments, the background music, the lyrics are just whole another level of intensity. this is the perfect song to listen to especially when experiencing one of those episode. thanks to her for letting me know that a masterpiece like this exists 🙌
