Hi Karen gosh I love those nail's they're just beautiful 💜...I'm sorry I haven't been around my partner of 11 year's passed away a month ago...he got the all clear in December then he got sick again with infections they couldn't clear...early Feb he was scanned again and they found a secondary cancer which was aggressive...he didn't want me to see him so ill since my Mum died 12 month's ago exactly...I didn't know he wasn't coming home he kept telling me he wanted to see me but not in hospital...I know he was trying to protect me but I just wished I'd put two and two together earlier...I've just been so upset he was my best friend and I miss him...I'm sorry Karen for rambling on but once I started I couldn't stop 😢...sending my love to you from me in Melbourne xo 💜💅💜

So sorry for your loss. My hubby died after 5 years of marriage coming 20 years this year, my mum died 4 days later. It’s not easy but it gets more bearable. Our son was 3 and definitely kept me going. Don’t be afraid to lean on friends and family when they offer. Sending lots of love and big hugs from another Northern Ireland chick. Xoxo

@@carltongirl95 it really is bizzare for a while. It’s like a physical part of you is missing and the nights as you say are worst. They aren’t there anymore when you reach out. I hugged a pillow for years at night and always kept to my side of the bed. And at night your mind has nothing else to do but think. One thing that was said to me about grief stuck with me, the grief doesn’t go away, but your life grows and continues around it. So eventually it’s not everything about you anymore. I remember after both the funerals, it was my birthday the day hubby was buried, the next day was the 22nd December and my son and I were staying with my dad (we all live together still lol) and I just said “we will never have normality again, so from this point on we will make a NEW normal.” That thought process really helped me. I know with time you will feel whole again Terri-Anne hard as it is to believe. I totally understand that loss of your best friend, the person you shared everything with. Talk about it as much as you like, I felt like that doing that kind of made it sink in, but whatever feels right to you. Sorry for going on so much. If you ever want a chat just shout. You take care! Oh Terri-Anne I am so so sorry for your loss sweetie - I'm sending you the biggest of hugs. Firstly no apologies for your absence, you have had soooo much going on (but know you've been missed) my heart breaks for you as this is the second big loss you've had in the space of a year and I know you must be feeling so upset. Please try to keep focused on all the good and wonderful memories you had, as not even death can take them away. Choosing to celebrate a life is what helped me through my grans death (she was a second mum to me) and I knew I was so blessed to have her the time I did :) I pray you find comfort & joy in celebrating their lives too. Like Pam said, lean on those who love you dearly and don't be afraid to ask for help or a shoulder. More massive hugs XXXXX

This set is gorgeous! It got me to thinking, I use acrylic. I was wondering if I put a base coat down on the acrylic and then added the glitter, then cured it, then encapsulated with clear acrylic. Would that work? I always seem to get the nail way too thick if I just use wet acrylic to apply the glitter with. I’m always so happy when you post new videos because your designs are always so beautiful. Thanks so much for posting them. 😊

Hello lovely! I would ten to advise mixing a little acrylic and adding the glitter as a 3:1 ratio and avoid using acrylic over a base coat. Remember you just need a small amount or set the glitter on a very thin layer wet acrylic before it sets, then encapsulate, Natalie Mugridge has some great acrylic vids that might help you with acrylic & glitter application :) xx
