Trena, I had to laugh at myself. When you mentioned bow ties, I pictured them maybe 10% of what you used lol. Glad you're soon to have power. There is another Canadian channel I watch. Both of you seem to have to wait an inordinate amount of time for the electric company to show up. Seems that way to someone from the US, anyhow.

I just loved every second of this repair/restoration, I love love Primitive design. I designed and built almost the exact design of this chair in foot stools for my 4 kids. and Grandson one Christmas. years ago. Talk about "Beefy" those stools will hold well over 600 to ton easy! no fears of them breaking while any of them standing on them for sure. You DID do some teaching in this video. I had no idea what a bowtie joint was. 100 years from now, whoever has this chair will see that nice surprise on the bottom of the seat and know that it was restored with loving care. This holiday season brings both sadness and joy to me. I lost my best friend of 62 years just before our American Thanksgiving. My daughter will give birth to my granddaughter on December 19th (scheduled c section.) Just a few more days! I hope your holidays are happy and healthy! ❤

¡Christmas is around the corner! Te contaré que en la parte andina de Perú en muchas casas tradicionales de pequeños agricultores o ganaderos aún se pueden encontrar mesas y sillas rústicas, prácticamente sin modificar la forma de las ramas del árbol, solamente pulidos para quitar la aspereza. Crean un ambiente del campo, sencillo y humilde. ¿Cómo que no tuviste mucho que enseñarnos? Aprendí que hay que tener cuidado al diseñar un mueble para que no se quiebre en el futuro, además de las técnicas para la restauración y acabado, también nos mostraste un gusto personal que tienes y de alguna manera te conozco un poquito más, aunque no nos conozcamos personalmente. ¡Cómo disfruto la alegría de Nessa! para ella todo es felicidad es como una niña. ¿Que este año ha sido extraño? Creo que a pesar de lo negativo que pudo traer este año, está en cada uno verlo de una perspectiva que nos ayude a seguir adelante. Estimada amiga Trena espero que te encuentres bien de salud que puedas lograr estabilidad emocional en todos los aspectos que estos días previos a la Navidad sirvan para reflexionar y enmendar para crecer tanto personal como espiritualmente.
