“Pretty Unpleasant” | Kemi Badenoch ‘Will Not Shut Up’ after David Tennant Suggests She Should

Equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch has said she “will not shut up” after David Tennant suggested she should at the British LGBT Awards.
Ms Badenoch accused the ex-Doctor Who actor of being a “rich, lefty, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology” in a post to social media website X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday.
Tennant, who won Celebrity Ally at a ceremony on Friday, received cheers and applause when he said of the Conservative Cabinet minister: “I don’t wish ill of her, I just wish her to shut up.”

I love Tennant but the "I wish her to shut up" comment was weird and unnecessary. And does he really think we're done with equal opportunities? The answer is no, we will never be. Humans don't do perfection. Societies will always need to improve. We're stuck in a never-ending learning curve. I will vote labour, like I did in the past, but Badenoch is right here. He said something stupid. By wanting to criticise the tories at all costs, he actually gave them ammunition.

I don't see how Kemi Badenoch is 'protecting' women, there never has been a check in toilets or changing rooms as to whether it's a man or woman going into them, they never have been 'safe spaces' as they call them, it is very foolish to think otherwise. Obviously schools is a different situation but in society at large there will always be trans men using women's toilets, it's a fact of life!
