I think that she has one of the most crystal-clear voices that I have heard for this genre besides Denyce Graves. Her vocal acrobatics are amazing! I am proud to be the recipient of listening to such beauty. Look at how God pours his talent upon us!!

wirklich eine sehr schöne stimme...Mal schauen wie lange das der ganze MusicBusiness braucht diese Stimme zu verdonnern....wie es leider mit viele junge sehr schöne Stimmen geschehen ist...Auch in dem ganzen internationalen Musikgeschäft herrscht leider das sogenannte wegwerf System....Ich hoffe sehr das es bei ihr nie eintrifft.... Una voce veramente bellissima, molto brava....vediamo quanto ci mette tutto il MusicBusiness per rovinare anche questa giovane voce...come purtroppo ne hanno già rovinate tantissime, ormai anche in questo campo purtroppo viene praticato il cosiddetto usa e getta....speriamo che con lei non succeda...

From 5.23 onwards the gruppetti and runs are often incorrect. As Joan Sutherland once remarked in a public masterclass, "If you want to sing coloratura, every note must be accurate". It's one thing to be pretty and sweet, it's another to be great.

@jimreilly43 I agree that we may not ever hear the likes of Sutherland again, yet, the Good Lord sends those like Pretty for us to at least give a chance instead of looking for the flaws and nit picking her performance. Can you sing those notes, Mr. Wilder? To give credit to Ms. Yende, her instrument is incredible. And you are correct when singing coloratura, every note must be accurate, but I think she comes pretty darn close. As she matures, those notes that were inaccurate in the performance, will no longer be inaccurate, she will have perfected them. We must remember that these are the greats of the past and even they had flaws too. So, Brava to you Pretty! You are truly an inspiration to young aspiring opera singers all over the world and may God continue to bless you with your beautiful vocal gift!

Legato still too choppy and her dynamics need a lot of work. She almost makes the messa di voce in the cavatina, but more or less she's still singing mezza forte to forte a lot of the time. I think the agility in general is not especially natural. A lot of times she strugles in and out of the high notes, staccato etc. Just too unpolished at this time to be singing Bel Canto.
