I was so close to visiting and working in Japan at one point. I was creating my Motion Capture portfolio and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit South Eastern Asia.

I'm hopeful Remi or someone on the team will see this. Don't see Guardians. As someone who walked out 40 minutes into the movie, I regret not walking out sooner. I sat in my car and sobbed at how difficult the scenes were and more so how the children in the audience loudly reacted to what they were watching. A number of families walked out because kids were crying and were extremely upset that their beloved characters were being brutally tortured. The fact that this remained pg13 was insane to me. Especially knowing that Guardians has been very geared towards children, Rocket and Groot exponentially so. Don't see it, just wait for it to be released on Disney plus and fast forward the harder to watch sections.

The story of him not proposing in Japan is so sweet and reminds me of my husband. We took a trip to Paris before we got engaged. All of our friends were annoyed that he didn’t propose in Paris. I personally thought it was so funny because we both talked about it prior to going and he warned me that he wasn’t going to do it there. He ended up doing it in such a sweet and personal way a year later and that beats Paris any day!! 💙

Tbh, I could definitely picture Cal proposing at home to Rem in the most beautiful way. It may not be a fancy location but I feel like that’ll be unique and meaningful to them. It’s like their relationship blossomed and bloomed during COVID in that home 🏡 but I can’t wait to see what the future holds and how it all turns out. 🩷

I have to say, Cal is very sweet. At least from what I see, he is so kind. My husband proposed in our kitchen after we found out we were having twins. (They’re 8 months old now) and it was beautiful and intimate.

My husband proposed in Hawaii with his family present (he’s from there) and as much as I loved it and how beautiful it was, I really missed my own family being there. Also I had a pretty public proposal and that was crazy too! I know all couples are different, but FUTURE PROPOSERS make sure you get a vibe for your partner’s take on having family and friends there and maybe their take on a public or private venue so it’s extra special!

I got engaged on February 12 before the engagement when the engagement topic came up I told my fiancé that he has to make sure my nails are done. My hair looks good, and I look good if he messes up, we’re having a redo. Lol 😂 I should’ve never doubted him because he did an amazing job. He booked the most expensive hotel in. Toronto, decorate it with flowers and balloons, and propose to me with my dream ring.❤ now we’re getting married 2024 August 31❤we also met on a dating app we met on tinder during the pandemic

You two really are couple goals! The way you can openly communicate about things you like/don't like about how the other behaves or anything is so healthy! Also I would recommend Tokyo Tower rather than Skytree. Tokyo Tower was much more beautiful in my opinion. And I can also really recommend visiting Osaka next time you go to Japan. Tokyo is amazing but if you wanna meet/talk to more locals Osaka is a much more welcoming place 🥰

i was in japan 1 week after you and Cal went and i already knew my (boyfriend at the time) was going to propose on the trip, but i just didnt know when. and i can attest that this was the most stressed my fiance has ever been. he wanted to propose at Lake Kawaguchi in Mount Fuji, but becus it was Golden Week, the train line closed and it ruined his entire proposal plan. We ended up taking a train to Hakone from Mount Fuji and hiked up and down the mountain for him to propose at another location that ended up not being what was expected. haha i respect my fiance for trying to come up with a perfect proposal and could agree with Cal that it would be stressing.
