I LOVE Wrap A Locs. They last a very long time, and if you are curling hair extensions, you can dip them in hot water without the Wrap A Locs melting. Heat resistant. I choose Wrap-A Locs over pipe cleaners.

I definitely like it but I feel you on the pipe cleaners for a fraction of the price & they're comfortable to sleep in minus the occasional wires that bug you..
