Our dollar store here in San Diego called daiso . The prices start at $1.50. They go all the way up to $10 on some items. And FYI they do not accept any returns. No matter any exceptions. I have bought items before that have broken really fast and they absolutely will not give you any refund back at all?so be careful what you buy unless you wanna waste your money! I used to buy the little headbands that they had in there when they first open their store here in my neighborhood over five years ago. But I find their products are little bit cheaper and not as well-made as they were when they first opened.

Wow that's a quite a markup imho. 200 yen is $1.39 usd right now. So you're paying almost $2 extra. The yen has been extremely low for a few years now too. I know you're paying for the convenience, but it seems like a lot to me. Especially since you said they had just recently hiked it. ngl though, 20 year old me would have been throwing cash at all that Sanrio stuff.
