Hi, Alex! The prices do seem much higher than other companies, however most of the other companies use sweatshops and slavery. I looked up Missguided's policy and they have addressed the issue of sweatshops and are actively working to not use them. The prices are higher most likely because workers are being paid a reasonable wage, as opposed to sites where you can get a shirt for $5, those workers probably receive little to no wage. I hope this helps you understand the prices better!

I tried to hold my tongue but I'm a bit frustrated. I agree if they can afford constant discounts they can afford to lower the price to their discount price and not constantly play at the discount game. Also, they can pay a livable reasonable wage without making the consumer frustrated with the quality and upping the price (when not calculating the sales). Businesses are often to greedy to do things in a fair way that works for everyone. It's always either the consumer or the worker who "pays the price".

I wouldn’t! Bird toys made with cheap materials can be EXTREMELY dangerous for birds. They can be toxic, or have parts the birds can get caught in. I’ve had some of my parrots hurt themselves on ‘safe toys’. I don’t even trust Walmart bird toys, or anywhere online unless it is a dedicated website for parrot/bird toys.

That could justify the pricing of some of these items if they treat their workers well and have better business practices. I feel like we as a society have come to expect clothes to be super cheap without thinking about what that means ethically and environmentally. I haven't bought from Missguided before, the clothes might feel really cheap but like yeah.... This post doesn't make much sense. A lot of designer stuff is/was made in sweatshops. Just because something is crazy expensive doesn't mean it was made ethically or cost a ton of money to make. Also, I'm personally not against sweat shops because if you boycott them you take away the ONLY JOBS these people have and without those jobs they will starve to death. The conditions should improve, OF COURSE, but until they do it's better to keep the sweat shops open than to get rid of them altogether unless you're prepared to pay for all the million familes's meals.

Try to remember her currency is aus dollars. They are one of those sites, because online websites have different laws to physical stores. I'm not an expert, of course, but I have always struggled with being overweight and I never managed to lose much by dieting, even when I ate basically nothing and felt terrible. The issue is that we're always told to "just diet" when that's super unhealthy. I also only did those "8min abs workouts" before which didn't help at all. In January last year I started doing Cardio work outs at home, with videos here on youtube. I stayed between 1500kcal and 2000kcal per day, without stressing about it and simply working out regularly (from 10min twice a week to 15min per day eventually). That's when I finally started losing weight and within half a year I was normal weight - which means I roughly lost 10kg - and much healthier (cardio is great for your whole body, especially heart strength)! Tho remember to stay hydrated if you start working out and always go at your own pace. If it hurts, stop. And I recommend working out before eating, personally I always get really hungry after and you only burn ~300kcal in 15min, so eating a huge meal after just ruins the progress. There are a lot of professional channels on youtube (personal trainers, athletes, physiotherapists) who have so much info on which exercises are best for weightloss, which ones work for gaining muscle, what to avoid for health issues etc. The one I did was "Low impact beginner cardio" by popsugar fitness. But you can try Fitness Blender if you prefer longer and more intense sessions. Hope it helps. Stay healthy :)

@@alexandrabequette5835 I noticed that eating 2 times a day (Healthy food, of course) withouth snacking, daily exercise and lots and lots of water helped me but it wasn't as sucessful. You see, whenever I ate something slightly unheathy, I kept gaining pounds back so rapidly, I did't have time to act on it, this is the reason why I would like to see what Alex did or does to maintain her weight and how she got rid of it in the first place. I think listening to other people's sucess story helps me, and especially when they share with us what they used to eat, the tips and tricks and al of that other good stuff.

the rouge henna dye from Lush is the best I've found, I am also of the species but lost all my orange over the years leaving a sort of goldy sometimes patheticness T_T downside of henna is you can't really dye your hair again after it without difficulty though

I am super tall (5'10) and I really struggle to find jumper dresses that actually fit me at a decent length and with how the 6 looks I feel like the 8 would be the perfect length for me. I love the colours too!

I'm like the complete opposite, I can never find any jumpers that fit me because I'm too short! Even extra smalls don't fit me (too long) I find it amusing though haha. I'm around 5 foot or 5 foot 1

I love that blocked colour sweater! Even though I am smaller than an 8, I would still where it ecause it would be so cosy!! I don't know if it's already been said, but if you put your skirts on backwards and zip them up at the front and then twist them around, that's way easier than trying to zip it up behind you. It's good for dresses, too.
