Lovely smooth transitions! Gimme all the keys! :) PS: Even though I know music theory and harmonies, I honestly found the naming convention that you used like "64, 64...75,..." and 4/4, 7/5, etc on the screen to be quite confusing lol. Wouldn't it be much easier to just say Subdominant or IV-Chord (ignoring the extensions for now) with its 3rd in the bass and then its root? I'm sure once I sit down at a piano and play around a little bit it'll become much easier to grasp :)
@musicandsportspro83302 жыл бұрын
If you know music theory then you see why KCs number system makes this super easy to REMEMBER na d EXECUTE in any key in an instant… the fact that you started using terms like “subdominant” and “roman numerals” proves that you aren’t “pretty simple” but studied to be “pretty formal”. Both work, but KCs method is “Pretty QUICK”!
@prettysimplemusic2 жыл бұрын
Hi there and thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, both ways will get the job done and honestly - at the end of the day, we all must find & utilize the “musical verbiage” that works best for our Musical journeys!!! Much love to both of you guys! 💚 Great points to consider!

@@prettysimplemusic You're welcome and keep up the good work! I'm still fairly new on your channel so I wasn't familiar with your terminology I guess. It also took me a little while to figure out that the asterisks on screen indicate that the numbers are related to our new target key :-)
