Clogged nozzles are the scurge of the 3D printing maker, but luckily they can be pretty easily prevented. This is a quick look at one way you can do that.

You're really welcome! When I feel the content can be covered in a shorter format I'll absolutely aim to do so as the last thing I want is to waste your time. Time you spend watching my video is time you can't spend printing. Sometimes however there's just too much info to stuff into a particularly short video, but that's why I always include labelled chapters so if you're after just a specific piece of information, you should be able to jump to the section of the video you need with ease. I think I'll try that cleaner filament. I've not experienced a full clog and I don't want to. So far I've only used PLA (regular, Matte, Silk, marble) and PETG (regular and CF). I've had occasional issues with under extrusion though and i think this cleaner could at least rule out possible partial clogs. I've a bunch of spare nozzles from when i couldn't fully clear a partial clog. This cleaner might revive those nozzles 👍😄

Switching between PLA and PETG (especially with the added CF component) it definitely could be good pratice to do something like this to help prevent a clog. Remember, flossing is a preventative measure! Or that's what my dentist always tells me.

Glad you like it. As for your suggestion, do you mean you'd like a tutorial video on how to replace the nozzle in a printer? I've already done a few for a few different printers and will do more in the future. Which printer were you referring to?

this could use as multi material to bambulab, not only multi colour....if bambu give some firmware to support "cleaner" mode in between material change while printing...

That could definitely be a nice added feature. However, due to never needing much of this cleaner filament, most vendors supply it loose, not on a spool, so you'd need to manually spool it up to run it in an AMS. I'd imagine if Bambu were to add that as a software feature, they'd release their own AMS compatible mini-spool of cleaner filament at the same time. Would be be cool to see though, great shout.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or right but I've been 3D printing for probably over six months now and haven't gotten a clogged nozzle and I have three FDM printers am I lucky I guess

You're definitely doing something right. It can largely depend on the sort of things you're printing, the printer and nozzle you're printing with, the materials (and mix there of) that you're printing with, even the slicer settings can affect it. But if you're not getting clogged nozzles, that's definitely a good thing. In the 10+ years I've been actively printing I think I've got a clogged nozzle once, maybe twice.
