I am using rubber mats this year to keep my steps and wooden deck safe during wet and icy conditions. Below are links to the mats shown in the video. I have found them to be effective and would like to share the results with others.

Where did you get them ? I have an older dog and she has slipped on a ramp that goes down into the backyard. I wonder how that would work on the ramp ?

@Charles Moore - I have links to the mats I used in the description of this video. I bought them from Amazon - It sounds like the larger mat would best suit your needs. Hope this helps, and your dog is OK.

Let me know what you got for your dog. We have the same issue. Old dog. Deck with a ramp that gets slippery when wet or with ice/snow

@@bonniestewart429 We found slip resistant floor mats at Home Depot, cut them and glued them to the ramp. We have had good luck with them.

Wow…I would spend the money on composite decking instead and not be sweeping and cleaning all the time. Then the ice melt chems would not be causing damage. Just a pressure washing in spring.
