I developed trigger finger of my right-hand ring finger about a year and a half ago. I think it was caused by the frequent use of hand sanitizer during the covid pandemic. I believe the alcohol was absorbed and dried the natural lubrication of the tendon. I decided to try and lubricate the tendon by using olive oil and a good remoisturizing and healing hand cream. I would apply a couple of drops of olive oil at the base of the finger in the palm and add the hand cream, massaging it in until it was mostly absorbed. I would apply at bedtime and a couple of times during the day. After about two weeks my trigger finger was gone, with no more sticking of the finger in a closed position when I would close my hand.

I did my research and found out that taking vitamin coenzyme vitamin B6, P-5-P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 50mg - 3 times a day along with Chelated Magnesium (as magnesium glycinate) for absorption, cured my trigger thumb! From my research they said you have to take this for the minimum of 6 months to start working. Well, 6 month and 2 weeks later my trigger thumb totally cleared up, seems like overnight after suffering for over a year and a half. I'm cured, and just last month my hand doctor said he thought I should have the surgery to fix my trigger thumb! My trigger thumb was really bad, had to splint my thumb 24 - 7. I even had steroid shots in the thumb, no help at all! Anyways, this worked for me, even though my doctor didn't believe that it would work!

Took the Chelated Magnesium 100mg, split one pill and took 1/2 with the first two doses and then just took a 100mg along with the B6 last dose. You got to stick it, the magic doesn't happen for at least 6 months time, no exception.

Do you know of any offices like yours in chicago? I had the surgery but it didnt work for me it came right back and more fingers are now effected, please tell me what diet can help me with my trigger finger? Because my condition is worsening the other morning I couldnt even move my finger. Im very worried about my condition. I dont want it to get any worse.

I just got surgery yesterday for my trigger thumb I’ve been having for 8 months it started with my right hand but I’m assuming because my left hand is the dominant hand the trigger thumb was worse in my left than my right. So in about a month or so I’ll be having surgery on my right thumb. I’m really worried and I’m really scared because I am a type one diabetic. I’m a single mom two kids one of them being a one year old, this is really hard and has taken a toll on my mental health let alone on my physical health too
