Thanks for trying out the game and putting together this preview! I just wanted to mention that there is indeed a solo mode (and a two-player mode). While I designed it originally as a 3-4 player game, I'm really happy with how the solo mode (and two-player mode) turned out. The solo bot is driven by a 10-card deck that takes an assortment of the regular actions, which creates a sort of puzzle for you to respond and react to. For anyone interested, you can see the full rules in the BoardGameGeek Files section or linked from the Kickstarter page. I also wanted to mention that there will be a 20+ page Historical Supplement in the box that will provide more historical information about the Court and about each of the cases in the game for anyone interested in learning more about the context for the 100+ cards in the game.
