It is “inspired” by the game “Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2.” An alternate history game where World War 2 is prevent via time travel, which leads to the next big war being between NATO and the USSR. No aliens, per-say, but there are wacky units like mind controlled squid and attack blimps.

the tank reminds me of a game I used to play when I was young Red Alert. The Apocalypse tank is a Soviet heavy assault tank in Red Alert 2.

i wish they made those cars in 1/24 instead, thats a deal breaker for me. I would have bought in a heartbeat. Would fit together better with rest of my collection of cars and if i wanted to customize it, that would be easier too with all afterparts i got is either in 1/24 or 1/12.

I agree. Especially with the variety of 1/24 people figures (from masterbox) that are available to go with the cars now. The Nana figure looks like someone wearing a clown costume.

I got the apocalypse tank, It's amazing and it has so many possibilities to customize it that I'm sure any expert modeller will appreciate. It even includes the vodka bottles. The Suyata model I'm actually really tempted to try one of them, they look pretty good and I'm sure some paint and even some lights would look amazing with those Madness of the streets kits.

Surprised you've never heard of Command & Conquer! It's a soviet heavy tank from Red Alert, man I miss good RTS games... There's a bunch of other sweet tanks and vehicles in that game.

Red Alert 2 to be more precise. Soviets were using Mamooth's in RA.

The sprues say Soviet Heavy Tank because that's the name of the unit in the game. Border models got sued because they don't have the rights by EA and they have to change the boxes to Apocalypse, but they haven't changed the sprues

I got Apocalypse tank straight from China as a preorder and pretty much this model is the best one that I've build in my hobby collection. I put pretty much 100% of myself as a huuuge fan of Command and Conquer series and the fact that they decided to make their own version of Apoc was just mindblowing. Great kit , the instruction have some minor mistakes . For sure it needs to be painted because it looks too toyish in a raw form.

I built the first Madness Of The Street kit. Very cool. I'm a fan of Lamborghinis as well as chicks in skintight clothing, so it was right up my alley! I'm pretty sure it wasn't a snap-fit kit though. 😕 Maybe it was, but I used glue anyway.

Being in 1/35 scale opens to a LOT of converting possibilities, naturally it could be a good base for some scratchbuilding. Perhaps they could try to made some in 1/56(28 mm scale)

Just found it on your website $74.99 it's a bit pricey. I've received the latest TAKOM 1/35 German Mammut and the VK 168.01 (P) from a dealer in the UK. As they were first shown on your KZbin I decide to get both these as your unboxing videos are fantastic. I also decided to buy the Trumpeter E100 and variants also shown on your videos, thanks for your insight to these kits. All the best for 2023 and Merry Christmas.

This will make hordes of "Rivet Counters" angry. They won't be able to use their calipers or micrometers to measure the kits and bemoan online that the dimensions are 1 millimeter off, rendering the kits unbuildable. 😜

I would go for Vertibird myself. Unfortunately that's too expensive for videogame companies to tackle alone, and model producers don't seem to see a market in videogame crowd for some reason. Maybe because videogames are generally blamed for stealing people from other hobbies. Well, it's legally questionable, but you can get 3d models of all fallout assets online. Just find someone with a 3d printer.

Trumpeter recently released the 1/35 Sprut-SD airborne tank destroyer. It might be interesting if you could cover the kit if it ever arrive soon, since no one has covered it just yet
