The day wheel is Kanji, not Chinese. Jfc it’s a Japanese domestic market watch from a Japanese company.

at 1:40 the day wheel in that Seiko is written in Japanese kanji word for tuesday, the appraiser has no knowledge at all....😢

That guy is not an expert. He said that the Seiko was a HK dial. There's no such thing. It's a Japanese dial...country of origin of Seiko.

He is referring to the Chinese language day wheel, often called the "Hong Kong day wheel" - this was the day wheel on the True Bruce Lee Seiko 6139

Bruce Lee is Chinese therefore an HK dial. Seiko being Japanese has nothing to do with this. Edit: he’s an actor/ comedian sharing his love for watches, he’s not an expert. I suggest watching his talking watches episode on the Hodinkee KZbin channel.

I wish I liked Ronny Chieng. I don't get his humour, I don't understand his character, the way he threw his book of Shakespeare away really sealed the deal with me. not a fan. I tried, but it just didn't work out.
