In June Alien Books and Valiant came to a deal where AB will be publishing Valiant comics while Valiant is still owned by DMG. It seems like mire than a license deal.

Thanks for the Previews tour, I haven't looked at it for years and we have similar taste in comics.

I enjoy your flip-throughs. I just go through the catalog online, which is tougher to do. Fantagraphics has a LOT that I'm interested in this month: Shell Collection, Mystic Debris, Sleep Gas, How War Begins, the Fior books, and, of course, Fat Cop! Also really excited for Tokyo These Days. After reading No. 5, I'm all in for Matsumoto. Before discovering his work, I would have doubted I would ever read a comic called Ping Pong... I'm also surprised at Paklis. What a great one-man anthology!

Thanks! I have to wait a little longer for the print catalog, but I prefer doing it that way. And yes, even in a pretty weak month, Fantagraphics brings it!

The Jam! Nice. Tundra did the colour version of the first 5 that originally came out through Caliber in 1989.

I ended up ordering that Scott Shaw book. I remember having his ODDBALL COMICS trading card set and liking his Star*Reach work. Very curious as to what's included.

BTW that Archer and Armstrong collection is a forgotten gem of a series by BWS. That book has been solicited and resolicited for three years so it will be nice to finally see it in print
