First u need to apply successive discount so as per ab rule discount is 44% how?? -20%-30%+(20*30)/100 Which comes as 44% So we need to include the transportation cost to the purchase cost just to get the total cost ie. procurement Nd as per qstn He is marking up his item @80% up so if he gonna purchase it @5 part he has to mark it up @9 part ( 80% means 4/5 , 4 needs to be increased on 5 so 9 comes) So as per qstn (x+2250)*(9/5)*(100-44)/100-(x+2250)= 744 Solve this u will get x That's it... 👍
