Probably one of the most underrated seasons. Especially with all the interactions with the wildlife. God, I miss seasons like these.

Between the amazingly goofy cast and the setting and animals, it really is a great season if you can break yourself away from the notion that all The Good Seasons need especially nuanced gameplay.

@@adamthespinygiant Yet, I can’t help that throughout this season, there was a lotta Bad Karma that came after. Sugar & Randy were the first ones voted out of their tribes in HvsV, Corinne suffered one of the Biggest Blindsides in Survivor history on Caramoan, and even outside of Survivor. Crystal was Stripped of her Gold Medal for Cheating with Illegal Banned Substances, Matty unfortunately broke his engagement off with his fiancé years after this season ended, and Dan sadly passed away from cancer. Guess Gabon was “Earth’s Last Eden!”, and how Fate really affected at least several of them after their journey.

A lot of seasons have a different 'feel' than others. This season is definitely one of those. There isn't a season of Survivor that I don't like. But sometimes I have to watch it a second time to really appreciate the characters and game play. (I actually really like Gabon).

It really does depend on the person. The way I see it, it wasn't a great season from a game play perspective. On the other hand though, this was an amazing season from a character perspective.
