Lil late, but how do you get the mod to run smoothly? My game, when using physics prop randomizer, and randomizing NPC bodies (human), glitches and gives missing textures.

How is it ok to have the seed previously generated? Isn't that cheating? Or could potentially be, at least? What's to stop someone from finding a seed, routing it, then using it for a "randomizer" mod?

well a few things. seeds have to be previously generated because it needs to change files before starting the game. that's just the way the mod works. as for any cheating kinda thing, randomizers aren't really taken as seriously in terms of competition as regular speedruns, there's no leaderboards or records to chase, so cheating would only really matter in some sort of race/tournament setting. the thing with that though is Prey Randomizer speedruns are super obscure, people speedrun prey and people play the mod but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has ever taken the time to do runs like this so. even if someone else has picked it up since, it's not a thriving community.

unfortunately the randomizer is very hard to follow and is difficult to commentate over when there is so much to think about as the run is happening. totally understandable to feel that way 👍
