Location: Corsico (MI) - Italy
Capacity: 15 t/h
Highly performing plant aiming at maximum waste recovery and separate collection of the plastic materials according to ANCI-CONAI-COREPLA convention.
The entire technology platform works 24 hours/day for 7 days/week, stopping a single weekly shift of 8 hours for routine cleaning and maintenance. The guaranteed minimum capacity is 15 t/h managed with totally automatic sorting technologies (mechanical, optical, densimetric and electromegnetic).
The manual activities concern only the final quality control of the products, which is implemented in a single cabin, isolated from the rest of the plant, where the possibility of a future installation of robotic stations has been arranged.
The plant is able to recycle about 20 different types of products, which can be divided into three macro categories:
- Recyclable plastics
- Metals, ferrous and non-ferrous
- Mixed process and/or plastic waste (Plasmix)
The quality of the final products meets the technological standards set by COREPLA and the plant has been designed and built according to the highest quality standards in terms of safety and compliance with environmental impact containment measures.
Another factor of merit is the capacity of the plant to integrate with the existing technological platforms and those planned in the future. Part of the products can in fact be reprocessed on site for the production of higher value added chains (derived products, CSS fuel), contributing to the drastic reduction of the final waste to be sent to landfill.
The technological profile of the plant is completed by the compliance with Industry 4.0 standards.
