After seeing this performance I've been obsessed with the idea of a traveling trackless dark ride that fuses the music and technology of Perfume and tours the US and Europe setting up in warehouses and closed down Walmarts and such. You'd be surprised how easily you can hook people if there's a ride involved. Like think about Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (housed in basically a flat warehouse), but... Perfumed and touring.

OMG! They are really amazing, i loved this songs when they came out (the Triangle Album). They're songs are really charming for me, the technology and the way they dance are AMAZING!! Cool for upload this video at 60fps!!

First I was impressed by imaginary museum, as a tourist, but this track is such a perfect mix of heavy and silly that I had to buy it. I’ll probably be buying swag soon 🤣

A total art performance. And a killer song. My band is almost finished with our cover of it. Thanks for this (I know it's been around for awhile, have watched it many times!).

2:48 I wish they kept the lasers for this part, like in the Japan Live Version

2009 live version had the laser too! Its sad it was not kept

Maybe they were just like "Yeah I think we have enough technology here" or maybe they are bored of lasers
@konchugun4 жыл бұрын
I wished they kept it since the lasers is supposed to keep you motivated at dancing to the song and to admire the beauty of it. Lasers is impactful to performances, I truly wish that they will bring it back. The 2020 P-Cubed version of edge was dope too though

i think moving vertical screens are the best stage property , they ever have.. it's really all in one use and attractive.. i think they should stay using them tho.. but it seems they decide to use them only until future pop era ends :(

I actually wonder how much this kind of technology costs. Japan being the one of the masterminds of reinventing technology to every generations. I'm sure it's very expensive.

What's great about this performance is that its actually not as much to produce as a lot of their other shows, specifically because when they tour overseas they do not draw enough of a crowd to justify a stadiums worth of lasers, moving platforms, and video screens. Reframe 19 takes those lessons back to Tokyo, and is mostly just inexpensive lighting and projection effects. Even the dancing monoliths are made in house by Rhizomatiks (the tech art collective that acts as Perfume R&D), and they have been improving their designs on them for a while now. Certainly more to produce than a typical band, but given how BIG their shows can get, this is practically restrained.
