Price action describes the characteristics of a security’s price movements. This movement is quite often analyzed with respect to price changes in the recent past. In simple terms, price action is a trading technique that allows a trader to read the market and make subjective trading decisions based on the recent and actual price movements, rather than relying solely on technical indicators.
The only people who know where the market is heading are institutions. They are the ones who make the market move and our job as retail traders is to follow their footsteps and get the piece of their movement. As price action traders we need to find the most profitable ways to enter trades. The highest probability setups are 2nd entries, its variations and confirmations setups at the key entry points.

Hey Thomas I switched to MES because I noticed I was trading with a lot of fear and missed a lot of setup, but I took that LH/2ES at video time 14:09 and I was seeing that in the higher timeframe there was a larger downtrend that needed a new extreme so I took my runner at the new low of the wider downtrend just to see that I left almost 30pts on the table. It’s just as painful as taking a losing trade! Lesson learned thank you Thomas

Hi, I trade spy, and I had the same issues. Yesterday was a trip, I was able to sell into profit, but it was not a great set. After a strong push, do you recommend to wait until pullback to the EMA, maybe a higher high then failed 2nd entry longs, if the context fits. Also do you use stops, or limit to buy and sell or it depends. ChUse sometimes they can tick little bit over then go or visa versa.

It cannot be 2ES because there is mini double bottom prior so we reset the count.

AT 15:56 thats congested. When would you recommend skipping a trade due to congestion since you didnt bring it up for this trade?

I don't think it's congested yet because you don't count the bars that are in the uptrend as being "sideways", just my .02 !

@@spyguy4278i’m counting the bars stacked right beside eachother. congestion is when 3 or more bars are stacked next to eachother. there’s like 5 in this example stacked

I’m confused. The video is titled “high reward” setups and he waits over 90 minutes to scalp 10 ticks shorting near the lows of the day after a 150 tick sell off. Am I missing something?

10 ticks with 6 contracts is 750 dollars which is a lot to most people.

Yeah you are missing something, market is all about timing, every strategy will have days where you can’t trade the market or you have to be patient. If it were easy to just catch every large move we’d all be millionaires. You must be patient and wait for the right setups to time entry properly. Thomas can make over $1000 if he catches decent runner in like less than a min sometimes, that’s not high reward?
